WHAT IS YOUR TRANSFER POLICY?

Transfer your entry to another rider until Monday, May 6th, 2024 for $10 on the bikereg page.

WHAT IS YOUR DEFERRAL POLICY?

Registered riders defer your entry to 2025 as late as May 1st, 2024 for $10.

To initiate a deferral, email your request to ridegravista@gmail.com . Deferral requests may not be made after the event has occurred.

WHAT IS YOUR REFUND and Event Cancelation POLICY?

Refunds would only be issued if the event was cancelled or significantly reduced due to unforeseen circumstances such as a natural disaster, global pandemic, etc. If this instance were to occur the following options are as follows: 

  1. Deferral into the following year’s event

  2. Partial refund - 50%

WILL THE COURSE BE MARKED?

We will have light course markings for both routes. We advise downloading the route to your cycling computer. There is no cell phone service on course, so if you choose to utilize your phone please be sure to have the route downloaded before you start.

The route will be available by February 2024 and we’ll send out the Rider Guide + Routes the week of the race.

What kind of Bike should I ride?

This is a GRAVEL race. A Gravel bike or “bigger” is necessary for both the worthy and stoked routes. You could ride the route with 28C tires and rim brakes, but you’ll have the most fun on something a little wider and disc brakes. A mountain bike would also be a GREAT option for this route if you do not have a gravel bike OR want to get a little more rowdy on the descents (or both).

IS IT A RACE OR A RIDE?

Gravista is a timed event, and participants can make it as competitive as they’d like. Whether you’re looking to win or getting into gravel racing for the first time, you’re welcome to Gravista. We have prizes for the the top 5 places in every category. There will not be a prize purse.

Are SUPPORT CREWS ALLOWED?

Support crews are not allowed on course except to pick up a rider who is abandoning the event. We will have race staff on course to ensure riders are safe. There is little to no cell phone service on course. Any support provided will to a rider outside of the provided aid station or race staff will immediately disqualify a rider.

Aid stations details will be provided in the pre-race details prior to event day. There will be water, Skratch Hydration drink mix, Skratch chews, coke, pickles, Little Debbies, and other assorted ride food.

CAN I CHANGE MY COURSE DISTANCE?

You may change your distance selection anytime before May 10th, 2024 provided you pay any difference in fee. If you choose to decrease your mileage there is no refund for the difference in entires.

CAN I PURCHASE AN ADDITIONAL MEAL TICKET IN ADVANCE FOR MY FRIENDS OR FAMILY?

Meal tickets will are available for pre-purchase. Food and drinks will be available for sale at rider pickup for food and beer. You can purchase additional food or beer after the event starts directly from the food trucks.
